Our History
Vaquero Energy Corporation has a 100 year family legacy in the oil business that started with Harrison Oil Company in the Carthage oil field of east Texas. We now control and or operate over 25 businesses and joint ventures, investing more than $5.6 billion in oil and gas properties across key basins. Our journey reflects our commitment to growth and sustainability.

With over 30 years of experience in the energy sector, Bill Harrison leads the strategic direction of Vaquero Energy Corporation.
Zak Everson
CFO & CIO – Supervises financial planning for family office, oil and gas companies, midstream, LNG and PNG Gold Mining.
Zak oversees the financial operations and strategic investments of the company, ensuring fiscal responsibility.
Robert Tu
COO & Senior VP Operations, supervises oil & gas operations, and LNG planning strategy.
Bob Tu manages the day-to-day operations, focusing on efficiency and project delivery.
Tom James
Senior Executive VP – Supervises Reservoir Engineering and Reserves Reporting-Calculations for Accounting and Finance Department.
Tom is our Senior VP, reservoir engineer, and project manager, he brings over 15 years of operational expertise, ensuring our projects run smoothly.
David Kim
VP of Engineering
David leads our LNG engineering team, focusing on FEED/FID/MOC and innovative solutions for LNG plant construction challenges.
Laura Martinez
Vice President: Director of all Safety & Environmental Affairs including Federal FERC regulatory reporting for LNG projects.
Robert Smith
Director of Public Relations and Investor Relations.
Robert manages and controls all announcements, public relations department, investor relations department, and PR/IR development programs.
